    B) Ghana lacked nearby water resources and E) Ghana did not have iron weapons and rival nations did.

    Explanation:

Being a very dry region and deserted there was a scarcity of water and so it caused the downfall of Ghana. Water resources are very important for survival of human beings and animals and the scarcity was severe.

The another reason was that like other nations it wasn't fit for fighting as they didn't have iron weapons and advanced weapons that the other nations had.
