    We rarely stay the same throughout our lives - how we behaved in our 20s is rarely the reflection of what we are going to behave like in our 40s. In John's case, he had issues with law in the past, but he grew out of it and became a respectable attorney later in life. This shows us that we never actually stop developing and that we can change even later into our lives.
