Agriculture has been further developed throughout history with new inventions of many different factors of production such as fertilizer, genetically modified crops, the development of machines, and other measures. However, early agriculture was made possible with the invention of irrigation techniques so that crops could be watered regularly greatly decreasing the need for constant rainfall to produce crops.
