How did the feudal system impact the worldview of the people of the dark/middle ages?

It impacted the dark Middle Ages a lot. Once you were in a class, you can not move up from it unless your ancestors before you were peasants and somehow worked themselves up to being maybe a noble or even more rare would be a part of royalty. It would be rare for someone to marry someone a class below them self.
