    David Wechsler

    Explanation:

In 1939, Wechsler developed the first Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Adults (WAIS) and in 1949 the first Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC). Currently, these scales are already in the fourth original American edition and the third edition of the Brazilian adaptation and are the main references and the most used intelligence measures. The scale is divided into verbal and visual tests and subdivided into subtests, which are representative samples in the wide range of cognitive abilities that reflect multifaceted characteristics of intellectual ability.
