    Answer: I would join the Confederate army.

    Explanation:

    Both Confederate and Union army have their own advantages and disadvantages.

    Confederate army were fighting for their own nation and also to end slavery. They were on the defensive side of the war and were not attacking any unknown enemy area. They just had to defend their rights. They had enough food supply also. One of the strengths of Confederate army was that they were having some former U. S. army officers with a good experience in military field.

    The Union had a bigger army and also they had sufficient of money and others factors essential for war. But they had extremely bad leaders to lead them. Also, they didn't have proper support from their group of population.
