What are the white nights of Scandinavia?

    The white nights are the nights when the darkest is never complete - in other words, the whole light sun, or daylight, or twilight is visible at least a bit.

    Having white nights also means very short days in the time of the year in between them: so in the winter, the suns only visible for a short time during the day.
