What right do people have when their government becomes destructive

    Whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it. The Declaration's fourth and final self-evident truth is that when a government destroys rather than secures its citizens' unalienable rights, those citizens have a right to revolution.
