Of the four goals of behavioral science, description of behavior involves careful observation of things that are observable such as eye gaze and running speed.

If you want to describe what somebody is behaving like, obviously you first need to observe them exhibit such behavior. Then, you have to carefully watch what they are doing, and describe thoroughly the way they behave, the things that you can observe externally.
