What is its genotype and phenotype?

    Genotype refers to the genetic make up of a trait in an organism while Phenotype refers to a physical trait.

    Answer: Genotype is the gene that causes the phenotype (YY, Yy, yy).

    A phenotype is the physical change caused by a genotype.

    Example: For example, if the two traits are blonde and white hair, and white is dominant, and you have purebred (WW) white hair, then you have (genotype) WW, which is (phenotype) white hair.
