    Events that have touched on American sympathy for revolutionary movements:

    The coming up of of the Monroe doctrine by the president James Monroe in the year 1823 proclaimed that if any other step would be take by the Europeans which would interfere in the internal matters of the Americans or if they by any means tried to colonies the Americans again, Americans would no longer bear it and would act aggressively against the Europeans and it is one of the most important events of Americans opposing the colonialism by the Europeans.
