By Florida law, if you are involved in a reportable boating accident with injuries, what must you do before leaving the scene?

    By law, when involved in a boat crash, you should give immediate contact to one of the following:

    The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, or the sheriff of the county in which the accident occurred, or the police chief of the municipality in which the accident occurred, if applicable.

    It is considered unlawful to leave the scene in which the accident occurred, without contacting any of the bodies stated above.
