    Explanation: Victimization is the act of singling someone out for cruel on unjust treatment.

    Individual and Situational factors can influence the initiation and increase the likelihood of victimization.

    Some of these factors include; age, sex, race, marital status, lifestyle, economic status of the individual. Also, social activities often times increase victimization such as the use of weapons, drugs and substance abuse in teens and the likes.
