Overgrazing occurs when plants and vegetation are subjected to too much animal feeding.

    Explanation:

Overgrazing occurs when there are many plant-eating animals without human or natural limitations. The plants are consumed faster than they are grown. As a result, the fertile land turns into a barren landscape. Often the poor wildlife and animal feeding management is the prime cause of overgrazing. Drought, overstocking, improper land use and poor irrigation methods also result in overgrazing.

    Overgrazing results in:

     Soil erosion

     Land degradation

     Famine

 Death of people and livestock

     Loss of species
