Columbus just presents the land a title and declares it as his own, as his discovery. He deems because he attained the land, it relates to him.

    Explanation:

In May 1498, Columbus departed Spain including six ships, three loaded with colonials and three with types of equipment for the colony on Hispaniola. This time, he did landfall on Trinidad. He entered the Gulf of Paria in Venezuela and settled the Spanish flag in South America on August 1, 1498. He traveled the Orinoco River of Venezuela and, given its range, soon recognized he had pitched upon another region. Columbus, a profoundly spiritual man, determined after thorough thinking that Venezuela was the external areas of the Garden of Eden.
