Vanessa notices that even though her 80-year-old grandmother keeps her thermostat set at 80® f, she still wears a sweater in her house. when vanessa asks her grandmother why, her grandmother says she is cold. vanessa cant understand this; how would you explain it to her

    Elderly people are a lot more sensitive than younger people are. Their skin is thinner and they're more sensitive to weather changes. Temps that would feel normal to us could be too hot or too cold to them depending.
