    Explanation:

    This is the third stage of Erik Erikson on the theory of psychosocial development, at this stage children are more expressive and confident enough to state their opinions.

    They start to interact more with other children at school and they can initiate activities and build interpersonal relationships.

    If they are presented with a cultivating environment they will become more initiators and be able to make friends.

    However if they are critized they may feel guilt and retreat backwards which may affect their development.
