    That statement is false

    Explanation:

    It is true that the Native American tribes were given with the power of sovereignty. But this only limited to their community. They have the right to settles disputes or create social norms that applicable to the members of their community.

    That's being said, they still have to completely obey the rules created by the Constitution and the States government. If one of the rules from their culture contradict the rules made by the government, the tribes were expected to respect the supremacy of the government rules.
