The arrival of European settlers to Ohio completely changed the local social system.

Europeans brought in their religion which they worked to quickly spread in the new land. They also brought their cattle and livestock as well as technology and weapons.

However, the biggest impact European settlers made were 'old-world' diseases they brought with them. The native population did not have immunity towards cholera, smallpox and even measles and quickly died by contracting such diseases from the Europeans.
