The actions of the 1920's. They were buying stock on credit and when the stock market crashed, and buyers wanted their money, which people didn't have. Then people rushed to the banks to take out all their money, causing banks to close. In addition, a drought had already put people who farm at a disadvantage and they didn't have enough money or food.
