Read the following passage from the article " The Completely Free Market. " The other Battle cry you hear from people opposed to open file sharing is that the artist are not making any money. Let's be clear about this. The "artists" people are referring to are famous pop and rock stars. These famous musicians are getting paid. They make millions of dollars a year from concerts, commercials, and other appearances. Why is the passage an example of fallacious reasoning?

    This passage is a fallacious reasoning because it contradicts the from the actual argument that the person is referring to. This is an example of an inconsistent premise, because the person had mentioned that artists don't create money, but in another argument it was stated that the "artists" that sing and are famous make money even more.
