A drug being tested is removed from testing during a phase II study. What would be the most likely reason for the drug being removed from testing?

    During phase II the dose is already determined and the goal is to evaluate on a large group (100-300) if the drug has any biological activity or effect. When a drug is removed during this phase is usually because of a toxic or not planned effect.
