In the movie hidden figures how did the white people in the movie react to segregation

Hidden figures is a movie which highlights how three women which includes a black woman too to enter a highly reputable company NASA and how she was successful in contributed to putting the noble astronaut, John Glenn, into orbit

Katherine was the only black woman who was made to shift to the other department walks in where all men are whites and she felt outnumbered but did not demean her abilities to work successfully in such an intimidated work environment. Many people in such a work place doubted and suspected her skills and competency.

There was also a scene in the movie wherein Katherine was so overwhelmed with holding her emotions that she at once burst out by trying to be literally exploding her feelings off which when it happens in real life, many African Americans would be labeled as an angry black woman.
