I believe much trouble and blood would be saved if we opened our hearts more. I will tell you in my way how the Indian sees things. In literature, we can say that tone is the attitude or approach the authors takes towards the work central theme or subjects. We often confused by tone and mood. The tone is the attitude towards the works and the mood consists of the feelings of the work product in an audience and or reader. Authors are used tone as well as settings, theme, and voice to present a certain mood. All the literature has a figurative tone. Authors must use the tone to communicate emotions, feelings and the choice of these words constitutes the tone the authors have towards the main work.
