    I believe the answer is: air leaving airway and inappropriate noises

    Inappropriate noises indicates that there might be some sort of blockage within the pathway that passed by the air. (such as infection that caused some sort of swelling). Doctors could use this information as a factor/clue in making their diagnosis.
