    The distinction between prejudice and discrimination is that prejudice is based upon misinformation and baseless or unfounded assumptions, while discrimination usually focuses actions like the unfair treatment to a gender, race, sexuality, etc. Although, both prejudice and discrimination consist usually revolves around the concept of negative opinion or judgement.
