The Wizard of Oz is often considered a family-friendly story. If you were in charge of a production (film or theatre), how might your production be different if you knew your audience was likely to have small children versus if you knew that the audience would be mostly high school age?

    Explanation:

Well, assuming it was to be a kid show, I would do it precisely just like the way the movie did it. The movie seems like a friendly one for the kids. But permit me to tell you, assuming it was a show for the teens and older type ... maybe I would have made it a bit more creepy. Take for instance, that wicked witch's death scene ... it would have turn out way more gruesome and horrific than it did. I would have also made the scarecrow look creepier, and the tin-man rustier. So yes, there would have been a bit of changes if the projected age range changed.
