Alaska has its own time, called the Alaska Standard Time (or Alaska Daylight time for daylight saving time), which is 9 hours behind the Prime Meridian.

That means that there are 4 hours difference between Alaska and Georgia.

Alaska is more western, which means that it's always earlier then than in Georgia. So it's 2PM in Alaska at the time when it's 6 PM in Georgia.
