    Investment spending in the United States tends to be unstable because profits can change drastically, innovation is not a steady trend and capital goods are long lasting.

    Due to these factors investors never really know what they are truly getting themselves into when spending money to invest. It's an ever changing society in the United States and with these changes happening often they can cause investors to be nervous when investing.
