    The US law that protects the workers from unfair work regulations and pay practices is known as fair Labour Standards Act (FLSA). It is applicable only to the employers whose annual sales is at least 500, 000 USD or more or should be engaged in interstate commerce. It covers almost all workplaces. Its basic provisions are FLSA are : Paying minimum wage, paying overtime for the work over 40 hours in a workweek and restriction of child employment.
