Why Andrew Jackson was considered hero? Why it was considered villain?

    Andrew Jackson gained land for Americans to settle on by removing the native Americans and sending them on the Trail of Tears and such to reservations, and many natives died along the way. So, it's considered good that Americans got more land, but forcing the natives off was immoral.
