Authoritarian parents have may characteristics but we define here two characteristics:

Authoritarian parents are not responsive but are more demanding from their children: These parents have may rules and regulations in their life. They manage things in a very little manner. These parents apply rules and regulations to their children in every aspect of lives, how they behave etc. These parents do not show much warmth and nurture to the children: These parents seem very cold and very harsh to the children. These types of parents always yelling at their children rather than encouraging them.
