    Scotch-Irish people were being discriminated and and also because of some religious problems in the part of Ireland known as Ulstèr (Northern part of Ireland) so they started migrating from Ireland into America. The first migration of the Scotch-Irish people were recorded to be in the 1680s.

    Many Scotch-Irish people settled in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Boston, New Jersey, Maine, Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio and so on.
