    This is true. It is even taken as a basis for the declaration of independence and the constitution of the United States. There are certain rights such as equality, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, that are inalienable rights of human beings, and any government that obstructs or neglects or forbids these rights is a government that should be changed. Governments require the consent of the governed.
