The scenario that is shown above is an example of egocentrism in which it enables people differentiate themselves to others. It is where conflict arises as it has the ability to have understanding towards other people's beliefs or perspectives. It could be seen in the scenario above as Danny was frustrated as his grandmother couldn't understand or relate to what he was talking about in which it causes a different perspective to both parties.
