What is one major problem that has resulted from globalization in the 20th and 21st centuries?

On a large scale, commerce has grown exponentially and with growth can sometimes bring complications. On a smaller scale, you could say that the popularization of social media has made our world much smaller, taking us away from the people that surround us physically.
