Of mice and men Does George do the right thing by shooting Lennie? What might his motive be for doing this and what does it say about their relationship?

    -Yes: Lennie would have been violently killed by Curley if George wouldn't have done it. George did it peacefully as possible.

    -No: George should have stood up for Lennie and not have jumped on the "bandwagon." He could have taken him to another place instead of having him be killed.
