    Continuous development view development as a cumulative process and it is occurred gradually over the time. It is the development of the contentious process that never stopped. For example the development of the child physical stage.

    Discontinuous development view development as taking place in a specific time and stage and the changes are occurred suddenly in this process. It is occurred in the specific time and age.
