    Stress is a type of emotional response a person has to a certain type of stimulus. The response is caused by the body's reaction to a threat, hurdle or barrier which is presented to a human.

    Here, I am experiencing mental discomfort because of the thought of not being able to perform well in the exam. This is a psychological barrier. This causes me to react to everything in negative manner.

    Hence, the question is referring to stress.
