Sammi and Lucy are both struggling with the pottery requirement in their art class. Sammi believes that with enough hard work and persistence, she will eventually do well. Lucy believes that she will fail the class because the teacher doesn't like her. How do Sammi and Lucy's cognitions differ?

    Sammi is very optimistic while Luck is pessimistic.

    She (Lucy), has already given up that there is nothing she can do to convince the teacher to give he a pass, in the other hand, Sammi believes she can do it.
