According to virtue ethics the fundamental moral question is

The fundamental moral question would be: What kind of person should I be?

Even though this question seems simple, people wouldn't be able to answer it without identifying important things such as: The ethical standard that held by the society, the personalities and the desire that they have, and the positive changes that they intended to initiate for their society.
