Roads often decrease dispersal rates for animals and can divide patches in two. how might these consequences of building roads affect the survival of a metapopulation?

    Metapopulation refers to a separation of animals by space. Roads will eventually decrease the survival metapopulation of animals by reducing the dispersal that also tent to decrease recolonization of patches. The more roads built the more the survival metapopulation will decrease.
