    The correct answer is:

    Gestalt theory

    Explanation:

The theory of Gestalt was firstly proposed in the beginning of the 20th century, Max Wertheimer, Kurt Koffka, and Wolfgang Köhler were some of the representatives of this psychological theory. When the Gestalt theory emerged the structuralism was the concept mainly accepted in the psychological field.

In the theory of structuralism, it establishes that the human perception is composed by a whole system of sensations and emotions as parts that structure consciousness of the human being.

On the other side, the theory of Gestalt in psychology contradicts the idea proposed by structuralism, due to the fact that for the Gestalt theorists the human perception cannot be conceived as some divided elements, but as a whole system that is responsible of the perception and consciousness of all the human experience process more that just the sum of it parts.
