    To illustrate, in order to distribute one prize or another, one could distribute the prizes equally. You could also hold a competition, and whoever excels acquires whatever goods are being distributed. Socialism and communism (communism being a more refined type of socialism) are at play when the goods are distributed evenly in the first part of the analogy above. In the second part of the illustration, where a competition is held, capitalism is at play. So the answer is B.
