    False they were scared because they had never seen other humans, much less whites men. so they became very hostile toward them

    It depends on which area you are referring to. Native Americans were not afraid of Spanish colonists because they viewed them as gods. Native Americans were friendly with English settlers in the New England and Middle Colonies, but relations were strained with settlers in the southern colonies such as Virginia.
