Because alcohol is a depressant. It means it can disrupt our balance in the brain, which then it affects our thoughts, feelings and actions, and sometimes even our mental health for long periods of time ... maybe even for decades. Which then ... our mental health takes a toll. It then makes you depressed, anxious. Worst cases ... it kills you. So, alcohol in small portions at once a night ... or even once a week. Is better than taking it in big portions every night. Or even every hour. Every hour would make it deadly. It's very easy to overdose. And, overdosing on anything is bad. Water, foods, anything. And yes. You can overdose on water. But, alcohol is the worst thing to overdose on. Because like other substances, it can be very deadly. Which even once a night. It's still pretty bad, because its VERY easy to get addicted. Which then leads to exessive use of alcohol, which leads to affects on mental health.
