    Nonspuriousness

    Explanation:

In research, nonspuriousness is known to be a relationship that exist between two variables that is not dependent on a third variable. In a case where the third variable causes the variation in result, then it is known to be a spurious relationship between the dependent and independent variables. Hence in this study, the researcher provides a relationship between two variables without saying anything about a third variable that may have caused the relationship.
