Revelation 21:14 indicates that the 12 foundations of New Jerusalem's wall are going to contain in them the names of the 12 disciples. So, these 12 men are of great importance to God. The names of the 12 apostles are Simon Peter, Andrew, James (Zebedee's son), John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James (Alphaeus' son), Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot.
