    Explanation:

    In a fixed mindset, people are governed by the belief that their abilities such as intelligence, talent are inherent and what the level of intelligence they have is all they can get or work with. They tend to hide their flaws to avoid being seen as failures. They do not believe in getting smarter if they work at it and stick to what they know to maintain their confidence levels.

    This mindset is commonly seen in people however, the disadvantages have tremendous impact on everyday living and prevents an individual from growing and exploring options and fields that could become profitable for them with some level of work. This could be likened to being caged to a standard set by the mindset of the individual that only abilities that are inherent are accessible to them.
