    Hi,

The person can appeal in an appellate court

    Explanation:

In most states a person has 30 days to file a motion to appeal where the appellate court reads and considers the appeal. In their decision, they might agree with the ruling made by the lower court, require an argument or cancel the ruling and request for a retrial. A person will have to accept the initial verdict if the decision is upheld by the appellate court.

    Best wishes!
